I enjoy using this book for my short summer lit classes. It is a backdrop for fun activities like: writing a declaration of war, writing a Cinquain (using a Thesaurus), practicing writing summaries, sharing personal stories of struggle and growth, and tracking the changes in the characters of both Peter and Grandpa/5().
